The jelly-like texture makes it hard to spread on my face and it takes a while to absorb. Initially, it leaves my skin sticky and shiny. However, once it absorbs, it balances out my combination skin. The oily zones become far less oily and the dry zones feel soft and smooth.
I didn't notice any major improvements like the reduction of pores and wrinkles.
I don't like the smell either, the fragrance is too strong. But it does reduce after the product gets absorbed.
