It hydrates my skin, in my opinion. I believe that using too much can make it sticky/tacky, but as long as an appropriate amount is used, this can effectively hydrate the skin. I believe that dry skins would benefit from a hydrating essence (perhaps the snail essence), but oily skins would love it!
